MARKA HİKAYESİ
Bodhita, kutsal bir dil sayılan Pali dilinde ruhani aydınlanma anlamına gelir. Adını ve ilhamını aldığı Doğu felsefesinin etkileşim kurduğu Türk Kültürü ve Batı Medeniyetlerinden türeyen tasarım öğeleri evrenseldir. Yarattığı koleksiyonlarla somutlaştırdığı hikayeleri, efsaneleri ve masalları yerel zanaatkarların ustalığıyla yüceltir. Üretilen her parça geçmişten geleni zamanın ruhuyla kucaklar.
Bodhita bir ‘hayat’ sembolü olan Anka kuşuyla spiritüel aydınlanmayı ve yeniden doğuşu anlatır. Birbirine uzak, doğaya ait insan ve doğa üstü olan anka kuşu ile kurulan bu anlamsan bütünlük, onları aynı dünyanın bir parçası haline getirir.
Coğrafyaya özgü kalıpları yıkan, ne olduğunu ve kim olduğunu bilen, yaşarken yeniden doğ an, dönüşümü ne kendi karar veren, ruhunun ihtiyaçlarına cevap verebilecek gücü yine kendisinde bulan ruhlara, daima bilinmez, benzersiz ve yeni her güne yolculuklarında eşlik eder.
ABOUT THE DESIGNER
As a designer her role in creating and communicating is substantial to being sustainable and caring about ethical values
Bodhita found in 2018 by its creator Erge Başak Ünsal, who was born in the same city, Istanbul. Her involvement through art, nature and people led her to turn this interest into pieces that anyone can carry. Rituals, ceremonies, legends and myths dazes Başak. Every piece she storified, carries the cultures of the world. She reshapes the signs of intercultural symbolism. She conveys concepts of infinity and belonging through natural and supernatural figures.
Designer continues her search for the right resources in the production of her designs, which combines the elements received from nature with gold, silver, bronze, precious and semiprecious stones that exist in nature.

ABOUT THE PRODUCTION
Determined by their weights and sizes; Bodhita uses recycled solid gold between 9ct - 24 ct , 925 ct recycled silver and recycled bronze.
Parts that complete the designs are coated with layers of micron gold varying thickness between 0,5 mm - 1 mm or coated in a thin layer of rhodium for extra strenght and luster. Determined by their designs and metals, oxidation is also another method to reach antiqued royal look.
After those processes, transparent lacquer application provides protection against external impacts and surface deformations.
